NaBloPoMo

No I haven't been drinking LOL, the title stands for National Blog Posting Month. It's a writing exercise, a post a day for the month of November. After reading a bit about it, it runs every month, I have decided to try and give November a shot.

There isn't a theme to follow this month so that makes it easier for me, hopefully no crushing writer's block. For the times when I have nothing to say, yeah right, they have prompts you can use to inspire you. Why bother? Why not? It sounds like fun.

I have not been the most faithful blogger so hopefully I will discipline myself a little more and just get things done. I tend to do a lot of re writing and editing even for short posts so maybe this will be a little freeing for me, more stream of consciousness. Maybe not, some habits are hard to break.

It works well for me because my blog's first birthday is on the horizon, then followed by my actual birthday. A whole month of celebration, maybe there will be drinking??

If nothing else it will be a chance to get those creative juices flowing. Hopefully, I'm up for the challenge. Wish me luck or better yet, join in.

(Now I just have to try and get that badge grab thing to work, wish me even more luck)

  1. Haha! Good luck on the badge grabbin' thing!

NaBloPoMo's been mentioned on a number of blogs and I just commented on one that I don't think I can survive it. I'd be the living dead by the end of it and Halloween's over. Not good. Anyways, good luck and enjoy posting everyday for Nov!

I'm kind of excited about the challenge of writing everyday. We'll see how it goes.
